8th Street Greens Welcomes Spring!

Spring is finally here after a long wait. This morning we put many plant starts into the ground. We planted miniature Napa Cabbage next to thriving garlic. We planted leeks and checked on the shallots growing under a crop cover cloth.

We hope you enjoy our first blog post! Please feel welcome to leave comments. If you want to get email updates on each weekly blog post, put your email address into the "follow by email" button to the right.

Painted Sky Warrior and Michael plant Mini Napa Cabbage starts in a freshly prepared bed.

Zak plants tender leek starts.

Shannon and Zak fill up two long rows with...leeks!

Shannon lays out leeks in soil dampened by a morning rain.

Iris is at the wheel, while Eisa checks on the tractors' engine.
